It wasn’t hard to decide what to write for my first blog – setting up a website is not as easy as they try to make it sound! I’m no dummy, but I started to feel like one when I began trying to set up a website through WordPress. WordPress is great, don’t get me wrong, but I worked many hours with one of their popular templates, only to find out from my friend, Liz, that the problem was not so much me as the fact that the template I was trying to use was for a blog, not a website. So, FYI, make sure when you start building your website that you are using a template that is actually for a website. Your blood pressure will stay a lot lower.
